This is a great little lens. I wanted to expand my repertoire of lenses and this was a great addition. I have had it for over a year and it has greatly exceeded my expectations.

Got the lens but never thought this will give me the most sharpest pictures for the amount of money I payed for. I will get another copy. I hope will be good like this one.

I just purchased this for my Canon 77D and it just made me fall in love with the camera even more! Takes some beautiful photos and well worth the couple bucks you have to pay for it!

this is the 50mm in the canon lens its super cheap very reliable awesome for photos they call this the nifty fifty for a reason

Good price and the quality of cannon lens is unique

I always carry this lens in my bag in case I want to take photos of faces. It stays right at 50mm so I have to move around to frame the picture, but I get nice faces and blurry backgrounds.

This is a good portrait lens on a crop sensor camera. It doesn’t take up too much room. It does focus decently on a static subject in the right light and it will give you some nice bokeh. So it makes nice sharp portraits. In low light it’s performance is subpar. All in all for a hobbyist or a beginner it’s a great lens to learn with especially at its low price point!

I use this more than my expensive 24-70 because it truly still delivers.

I purchased this lens on a last minute whim because I needed one for an event. I can't say anything negative about this, it works great...and not to mention a great price to go along with it.

This is a go to lens whether you’re a beginner or advanced. I love these lens, I owned 1.2 but these are more easy to carry for the daily photoshoots.

Really nice shallow depth of field, although you must be from a far distance. Really nice portraits and small figures.

Fun and inexpensive lens, image quality is acceptable or even great, decent build quality, fast focus and good bokeh, a must have for anyone who is still shooting their kit lens

This lens is a f1.8 which is perfect for close up shots and blurring the background of your photo. I use this lens for Video Blogs and for Recreational Shooting. 5/5 would recommend purchase.
