Kept hearing this was the go to lens for beginners to have. I'm still learning, but such a change from the standard lens! Super crisp pictures and quality once you can get the focus just right haha

This is a great little lens. I wanted to expand my repertoire of lenses and this was a great addition. I have had it for over a year and it has greatly exceeded my expectations.

For $125, I couldn't go wrong. The bokeh is very nice. I also have the Canon EF-S 24mm 2.8 and both will fit right in your pocket. If you have an APS-C camera, then this 50mm will be an 80mm equivalent.

This is a good portrait lens on a crop sensor camera. It doesn’t take up too much room. It does focus decently on a static subject in the right light and it will give you some nice bokeh. So it makes nice sharp portraits. In low light it’s performance is subpar. All in all for a hobbyist or a beginner it’s a great lens to learn with especially at its low price point!

This is my first prime lens and it is a great addition for my Canon EOS T7i. Pictures are clear and have great detail. Autofocus is fast and quiet. For the price it is a great value.

Great camera lens I got it for my Fiancés camera she has a Canon RebelT6 and this lens made a huge difference.

I just purchased this for my Canon 77D and it just made me fall in love with the camera even more! Takes some beautiful photos and well worth the couple bucks you have to pay for it!

The 50mm lens is incredible quality at an unbeatable price. I use it on my Canon 70d & the photos are amazing. If you're looking for a versatile lens that is reasonably priced, this one is highly recommended!

I always carry this lens in my bag in case I want to take photos of faces. It stays right at 50mm so I have to move around to frame the picture, but I get nice faces and blurry backgrounds.
