Based on the suggestion of a well knowledge sales associate I picked this one up and would highly recommend. I do not have a lot of experience using it yet but pleased with the results to date.

A pro quality lens that makes for clean and crisp photos. Very large aperature makes for some very versatile shooting. F-stop of 1.8 is great and totally worth it for Portraiture.

Since I added this lens to my kit, my portraits improved tremendously. Now, I can get that blured background on most scenarios. I recommend it.

This is the best lens ever! Its very easy to use and the auto focus is quiet and not loud like the older version. Great lens if you're barely getting into photography/videography.

This is a great affordable prime lens. The 50mm length is used often in portraits and the price point of the Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM is reasonable for the shallow depth of focus it provides.

I can't believe this lens, for the price... An amazing value, and the shots at the lower f/stops have great depth of field. I am a huge fan!!!

My first ever prime lens i purchased. I use it on my 77D which has a crop factor so this acts like a 80mm lens. So clean and amazing in low light

If you are looking to have a nice background blur in your portrait pictures this lens its what you need, also the STM make this lens really quite if you are recording video, cheers.

Gotta love this 50 mm lens, quality is awesome and it takes very clear and crisp photos, motor is silent and is great for shooting video also

Bought it for my Canon 5D2. Had one in the past but lost it. This takes great pictures. Was a good option for me cause I bought it for our family vacation. Can't go wrong for the price.

A great lens for the price, always on my Canon t7.

This was my first lens purchase to have something other than my kit lenses. I have been very happy with it and have really appreciated the bigger aperture capabilities.

This is great for small profile shoots, the depth is great. Have been using it for a year and it's excellent just to have on the side.
