Frat value for the price. This lens does a lot for a little. Great for creating some bokeh and capturing some portraits and candids where you can keep who/what is in focus in focus.

This lens is a good choice for taking portraits because of the wide aperture. Since it does not have image stability it is best to use a tripod for clear pictures. Over all an excellent value.

Gotta love this 50 mm lens, quality is awesome and it takes very clear and crisp photos, motor is silent and is great for shooting video also

Great compact lens that has really nice sharpness and going to f/1.8 is great for selective focus images and portraits in low light.

This is a great lens for any photographer. It's very affordable and great for low light and wide aperture shots. It will help beginner photographers increase there skills because it is a prime lens. My only complaints are that the image quality could be better and it's hard to get you focus correct at wide apertures. It is also noisier then I expected when focusing. That being said it is still highly recommended.

This is the best lens ever! Its very easy to use and the auto focus is quiet and not loud like the older version. Great lens if you're barely getting into photography/videography.
