This is a great basic lens to have. It works very well. I am very pleased with how my photos taken with this lens turn out. This lens even works pretty well in dim lighting.

I bought this lens because I wanted something that'd create a nice bokeh for portraits and the price was perfect. I did have to return it because my camera has and crop sensor and made it to a bit harder to use indoors. I had to keep stepping back and sometimes, there wasn't room to step back. But for outdoor photos where I had lots of room, it worked great.

A nice normal lens that doesn't break the bank. Being an STM lens it is a great improvement over a plain USM lens for video.Like to see more of these lenses in the future.

Being a nifty fifty, this lens is a basic requirement for almost every photographer. Much better than the previous f1.8. This new version is very quiet and much more smooth.

This lens is perfect for all my needs. The mechanics work seamlessly and quietly. It squeaked a little bit when focusing at first but now it's soundless. Perfect.

This v2 of the famous nifty-fifty. Is a really and sharp lens considering the price. You can't go wrong with this. It will make nice bookeh and is great lens for portrait.

I have owned 3 of these lenses. They provide good image quality and are inexpensive. The only real downside is that they are rather fragile as they are made of plastic housing. I have broken two previously (the only camera lenses I have ever broken). One broke after being dropped only a few inches.

I love this lens! It's perfect for portraits and full body pictures. It creates a nice bokeh effect! definitely a must for a beginner, and anyone that loves photography.

Got this lens mainly for the aperture to get that bokeh background and it's great for the price. Really blurs the background well and gives good sharp images.

A MUST HAVE!!! Seems like since COVID, everyone picked up some sort of hobby haha. Sells out fast so when I saw it was available in store late one night, I made sure to buy it online for store/curb side pick up that way I’d get it before it sold out again. I’m only am amateur/hobby photographer so this works perfect for me. I’m sure professionals would buy/invest in much better lens but for this price and this quality, it’s a must have.

Just learning photography, great lens for landscapes, and gives you great blurry background in portraits. Just a fantastic lens.
