This lens is amazing. And the cost is very low compared to other lenses of the same caliber. I've been using it for a couple months and love it. I highly recommend it.

Decided to invest in a camera because I didn't wanna buy a phone every year for a new camera, I have an canon M50 and this lense was the most requested and highly respected. The pictures are so crisp with this lense, the focus is unbelievable. Cant wait to purchase more lenses.

Awesome lens for the money. Stm motor is smooth, optics are super clean and sharp, build quality is mediocre at best. This lens will deliver when it counts. I got it for outdoor portraits and on the fly stuff. It's small, light, portable. I would recommend getting this lens over more expensive models if you travel a lot and really need to optimize your space or there is a possibility of damage, you need a quick lens that won't weigh you down, or you really want to break into the portrait scene. It's an easy first step for beginning photographers to really understand their camera and their capabilities.

The nifty 50mm it's takes excellent pictures and that f1.8 makes a beautiful background in portaits

this is handy if photography is your hobby. It's inexpensive and has great quality nomater what Canon Body you have. All photographers needs to have one of these.

I needed a lens for taking close ups. This lens works great for that. Easy to remove and replace with one hand while holding the camera with the other one.

This is the most amazing lens I ever bought great for portfolio shoots or for profiles. Small and handy .. not sure if good good for macro photography .
