I tried the 24mm lens and it wasn’t for me. This lens looks a lot sharper and is much better in low light.

Very reasonably priced. Great aperture and picture quality. My only slight complaint is that the auto-focus is a bit noisy for video.

Awesome for photography but if you want to use for video make sure the auto focus is off because the auto focus in video is not good

If you are getting started with a DSLR, this is a great intro lens. Quick, easy to use, not a lot of room to mess up. Does not have zoom, though.

PERFECT starter lense. Using on a crop sensor, it was about a 75mm FL. have to step back quite a bit to fit everything in frame, but overal definitely recomend

Using the Best Buy app, I purchased this for my little cousin. I saw it was available at my nearest store and was able to pick it up in the hour. Easy in and easy out. Her mom had also bought the Canon camera from Best Buy. Showing a big interest into her photography, I wanted to help encourage her pursuits. Now I get sent great photos of family, friends, and everything else.

This definitely a quality lens for the price paid. Highly recommend if you're in market for a solid 50mm lens

I purchased this lens for indoor daytime shooting without the use of a flash. Works very well especially considering the price.

This is a good lense if you'd like to take either really up close and person photos or really far photos the quality of the photos come out great.
