Its good, works good for potraits. Must buy if you have canon dslr

I bought this more to use in low light and it works well. It's a cheaper lens and made of plastic so you have to baby it a little. But the cost of the lens was in my budget and it takes great photo's. If you have a lot of money then buy a L lens not a prime lens like this one.

Wonderful lens to get start with your prime.. though a basic prime lens, this gave wonderful snaps.

nifty fifty indeed, made my old rebel new again! and low light pictures became even better with such low aperture!
