Nothing fancy about it, but it allows a faster shutter speed, which is nice. The ONLY concern I have is that I photograph models with it and at 50mm I have to stand back about 15 or more feet to get a full body shot, and more if she's tall. I don't always have that much room when shooting indoors so beware of that.
