I really enjoyed starting out with this lens I have the canon eos r because I was familiar with cameras already and decided to get a full frame camera I do plan on getting l series’s lenses but for beginners this 50mm 1.8 is great.

Got this for my wife for Christmas to complete her Camera bundle from last year. This is great for use with the camera’s video feature.

This lens is just what I needed and was glad to get it. Small in size but enable you to take great pic. Easy to use and understand.

The Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens is a good lens for closer up pictures. It's good for beginners, especially who want to try different things.

I am not an expert on cameras. This is my first attempt on this type of camera. I bought this lens to take sharp close ups and this lens does a great job on these type of pictures.

I love this lens!!!! I love the sharpness it gives the subject as well as blurring the background to give more of a depth. I'm very happy with my purchase!

My son has really gotten into photography and requested the purchase of this lens. He really loves how it makes your subject stand out against more of a "blurry" background due to the fixed focal length. I've used it myself a few times and it does a great job for what it's intended to do.

Awesome lens. Works perfectly well on my Canon APSC Camera. The only issue I am facing is, this lens is made for Full frame sensor and when I use it on my APSC sensor, this lens turns into a 80mm lens.

Excellent Macro lens love made the best macro photos yet. Good value for the buck.

If you only have the kit lenses that came with your camera you need to get one of these. Good results for day and astrophotograpy.

Great for closeup portraits!! Would recommend for any new photographers.
