    This lens requires that you look creatively at your subject. It has no zoom, so you are using just the standard view. Makes me think twice when shooting.

    This is my second copy of the 50 1.8; I've owned the non-STM version also. This is a better lens because of the STM focusing motor and metal mount. The image quality between the old and new lens is the same.

    I used it on the Canon T7i and I have to say it’s a pretty cool lens. It’s not the best in quality but gets the job done. Overall I’m satisfied.
