This lens is very good for up close shots. It is great for photography of portraits and of outdoor scenery like flowers and vegetation

It’s a small zoom lens to start off with before you get the powerful zoom lens after playing with the smaller one first.

I chose this lens for the video capability and have not been disappointed. It is great both up close and across the room.
