    Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 STM Standard Lens is great for portraits but if you want to use for video, the auto focus is loud and slow.

    Honestly for the price you can't get much better. You can't really expect a super high quality lens for under $200 but this gets the job done.

    This is the second time I've bought this lens. Results seem to have been better the first time several years ago when I had a rebel t4i. Now that I purchased this lens on a t6i, the performance seems to have diminished a bit.
