A must-have for every photographers bag. This little lens is very inexpensive, very light-weight, very unobtrusive (unlike larger lenses that draw alot of attention) and extremely helpful in low-light situations (if you know how to shoot in Manual or Aperture Prioity Mode).

It is light and to some may feel that it is cheap but it is a great lens. Very crisp pictures.

I have an old Canon Rebel XS and was looking for a lens for taking pictures of people. This lens has great reviews and is inexpensive so I thought I would give it a try. I'm very happy with this lens and was amazed at how well my portraits look now, the wide aperture makes a beautiful bokeh and lets you focus on a specific distance for the perfect shot.
