This was a great addition to my camera bag and didn't break the bank. Unless you want to spend way more on the lower stops, the pictures this prime takes are sharp. You will not have buyers remorse for the quality at this price.

It's a little narrow for a walking around lens on my T4i (crop sensor), but the pictures and the bokeh are incredible given the price range of this lens. A must have for any photographer

It's a great lens. It is very fast so you may want to avoid any shaking. However, it takes gorgeous pictures and photos will look very professional. Highly recommended.

While we have not had a chance to use as much as planned yet, we are happy with it so far. It was purchased with the intention of making better photos for my wife’s fashion blog. She is happy with the results so far.

I love this lens! It automatically blurs put the back ground of the photos. Also it gets a really great up close snapshot.

I was getting bored with the kit lens that came with my camera, so I looked for a cheap upgrade to practice portrait photography. I definitely recommend this lens for that as well as interview-type videography.

This is definitely a great little lens. I use it for videos. My only thing with the 50mm is you have to be across the room from the camera and it's very hard to get in focus if you aren't behind the camera. So often I've filmed a video just to upload it to my computer to find the background in focus and myself completely out of focus and blurry. Tethering helps. If I were behind the camera I would love it more. When in focus it helps take beautiful video and gorgeous still images!

I love this lens! definitely a great lens if you want to do a YouTube channel.. if you don't have the money to buy the sigma 18mm-35mm one.. this one will do! definitely recommend!

It’s wonderful. I just got into photography and it’s really simple to use. It doesn’t zoom in or out but it’s perfect. It had auto stabilization and so you don’t have to worry about trying to figure it out.

Used this lens in my camera, worls great. You just have to make sure it is compatible

Great lens. Nice bokeh and pretty sharp image. I soon replaced it with the larger Canon 50mm f1.4 USM lens though, which honestly I quite regret. 1.4 was nearly triple the price and the performance and image quality was nearly similar.
