It is awesome for close up/closer distance pics with that beautiful blurred background. I take lots of indoor shots so this lightens the shot which is what I needed!

This is the first lens I purchased outside of the two that came with my camera. Enjoying it! Also went to a free photography class at BestBuy it's great.

This lens allowed me to have a much wider f-stop than the lens that came with my T8i.

Awesome lens for the money. Stm motor is smooth, optics are super clean and sharp, build quality is mediocre at best. This lens will deliver when it counts. I got it for outdoor portraits and on the fly stuff. It's small, light, portable. I would recommend getting this lens over more expensive models if you travel a lot and really need to optimize your space or there is a possibility of damage, you need a quick lens that won't weigh you down, or you really want to break into the portrait scene. It's an easy first step for beginning photographers to really understand their camera and their capabilities.

I've been a fan of Canon cameras for a while now. This is one of the best additions to my collection of lenses. I highly recommend it.

this is handy if photography is your hobby. It's inexpensive and has great quality nomater what Canon Body you have. All photographers needs to have one of these.

Decided to invest in a camera because I didn't wanna buy a phone every year for a new camera, I have an canon M50 and this lense was the most requested and highly respected. The pictures are so crisp with this lense, the focus is unbelievable. Cant wait to purchase more lenses.
