    Very reasonably priced. Great aperture and picture quality. My only slight complaint is that the auto-focus is a bit noisy for video.

    If you are getting started with a DSLR, this is a great intro lens. Quick, easy to use, not a lot of room to mess up. Does not have zoom, though.

    I think f1.8 says it all. The background blur because of the aperture is excellent. It is great for portrait photography. Just make to identify if you have an APS-c or a full frame camera because for APS-C this will make the focul length to 1.5x or 1.6x.

    Awesome for photography but if you want to use for video make sure the auto focus is off because the auto focus in video is not good

    I tried the 24mm lens and it wasn’t for me. This lens looks a lot sharper and is much better in low light.
