    Best Value Bargan Better Build Quality Quiet, Quicker Focus Sharp, super small and portable STM Focus upgrade is quieter full time manual override. Purchased this lens for my first Full Frame Canon Camera , a used Canon 5D. I'm not a professional and I needed an EF Prime lens for my collection and this fit my needs perfectly.

    Camera 101. Get a 50mm prime lens. This is so much photo goodness for probably the cheapest you will ever spend on a canon lens at a retail store.

    This lens is super sharp with fast focus, f1.8 means its great for blurred background, just a really great lens.

    This lens is definitely a must have. It doesn't fall short from its f1.4 counterpart. Nicely built, small enough to keep in a sweater pocket.

    Love the automatic blurred backgrounds on portraits. I didn't realize how far back I would have to stand for whole body shots but still love it.

    The Lens that comes with the camera is average. For Video and Photos this lens Canon 50mm F1.8 AF is the best. You get great clarity.
