Not much to say great lens great price. Found that you can adapt the older FD series lenses to the new Canon mounts with an adaptor, only draw back is you are 100% manual, so this lens gave me abit of flexibility in the 50mm range

This lens is great. I wish camera manufacturers made this a kit lens simply because it’s a great focal length and it will help new photographers get a better grasp of the exposure triangle much sooner.

This is my go-to lens for taking pictures of my grandchildren. It travels nicely and it's very convenient to grab and easy to put on my Canon Rebel 77D. Lovin' life.... one snapshot at a time!

Good, standard normal lens- good for use at low light levels (faster than the zoom lens that comes with the camera).

I had the original 50mm lens and sold it for this one. This has much faster and more accurate focusing. Canon even went back to the metal mount from the plastic in the version II lens. It's also built really well for a $125 lens.

Bought this for my daughter for christmas. She put it on her camera immediately after opening on christmas morning. She uses it on regular basis and has not said it doesn't work as expected. Thumbs up.

Works perfect with M50 using an adaptor I got from Amazon for not too much. It does add weight to the camera but nothing that can't be handled by most.

This lens is great if you are taking stills (portraits, headshots, etc.) doesn’t zoom, so don’t count on being able to catch far away shots. Best range seems to be about 12-25 feet.

I bought this lens again because I had dropped my camera and broke my previous lens. I always loved it for its lightness, portability, and affordability, so I just had to buy it again for headshots mostly.
