Wanted a standard Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not much to say great lens great price. Found that you can adapt the older FD series lenses to the new Canon mounts with an adaptor, only draw back is you are 100% manual, so this lens gave me abit of flexibility in the 50mm range

Nifty fifty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This lens is great. I wish camera manufacturers made this a kit lens simply because it’s a great focal length and it will help new photographers get a better grasp of the exposure triangle much sooner.

As advertised
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good, standard normal lens- good for use at low light levels (faster than the zoom lens that comes with the camera).

My Prime Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my go-to lens for taking pictures of my grandchildren. It travels nicely and it's very convenient to grab and easy to put on my Canon Rebel 77D. Lovin' life.... one snapshot at a time!

Better than the original
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had the original 50mm lens and sold it for this one. This has much faster and more accurate focusing. Canon even went back to the metal mount from the plastic in the version II lens. It's also built really well for a $125 lens.
