A must for all
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The 24-105 is a great one carry lens. But, I think we forget how versatile the simple 50mm is. Light, bright, and sharp as heck. Great for video shooting. I’ll be using it a lot more.

Lens is perfect for close ups

Ok to get by

If you've used the 1.4 version you won't be able to step back to this but if you're in a pinch and need a decent, lightweight cheap lens this one works just fine.
