Works great; slight learning curve

I bought it after several learning sessions with a friend and my new camera; he recommended I get a 50mm lens. I like the lens, it works great. As I am still new to DSLR photography, I did have some difficulty getting the hang of this lens at first.

Decent lens, not needed if you have a 18-55mm

The T7i comes with an 18-55mm zoom lens, and I would recommend against buying this lens to anyone who already has the versatile 18-55mm.
