Great Lens
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is an all purpose fixed length lens that is great for separating background from foreground (portraits, etc). Nothing fancy about it, but it allows a faster shutter speed, which is nice. The ONLY concern I have is that I photograph models with it and at 50mm I have to stand back about 15 or more feet to get a full body shot, and more if she's tall. I don't always have that much room when shooting indoors so beware of that.

The Canon version does everything better and doesn’t break the bank. I got mine from Best Buy because I had some gift cards.

Great little lens for the price

It does suffer at times from small focusing misses, but when it's on, it is ON. I bought this lens in a pinch and honestly do not regret it.
