One of the best lenses out there. Ya the price will hurt anybody's wallet, but if photography is your career then you gotta get it.

I used the lens for three basketball games and am very happy with the quality of photographs. I look forward to spring and some great shots of Baltimore Orioles. Professional series for sure.

Amazing photos from distance in low light conditions

I have rented this lens several times and now I own and its done excellently with excellent resolution, fast focus and exceeds my expectation. It's a bit heavy and I actually like that. Proof of a sturdy product.

Excellent professional lens for portraits and nature. When I put this lens on my camera I like to use it with a monopod or tripod because this lens is heavy! The quality of the glass is well worth it though.

Lens didn't fit my canon camera r10 had to buy an adapter, also the len doesn't extend focus right. Unhappy.

So far so good. Still learning all of the features this lens provides. From other reviews I read and watched before buying, I expected this lens to respond a little better when shooting into the sunlight. There is definitely more flaring than I expected with the lens coating that the version III comes with. I probably unfairly marked the ease of use but that is only because I have yet to explore all of the functions. Overall I am happy with the purchase and very pleased with its performance

This is a great lense for all types and ranges of photography. It can shoot close up and far away. It easily does pay for itself with its ability to do so many photos with one lense.
