Got this for my boyfriends birthday, safe to say he absolutely LOVED it. He shoots a lot of concerts and our dog the only negative thing he could say about this lens is that it gets real heavy after a while.

So far I've only used it for indoor volleyball. I needed something for low light as high school gyms have awful lighting. Combined with the 5D Mark IV, the pictures are so much better! Still get some noise, but I can remove it in Lightroom. The lens is very heavy, but the IS helps immensely when using it handheld without the monopod. I highly recommend it! If you buy it through Best Buy or another Canon certified retailer, I recommend buying the Care Pak warranty from Canon. It includes accident protection, and the 3 yr plan is MUCH cheaper than the Best Buy warranty.
