Overall I found reviews complained about the low quality of the lens or complained about the slow focus speed - but I bought this lens on a low budget coming from just camera phones, to using it on the Canon Rebel T3i just learning how to use a better camera. I realized it wouldn't have the IS or a fast auto focus, but all I had to do was raise the shutter speed and use it in manual mode (which is fun anyway) and the shots came out exactly the way I wanted them to. This lens meets my needs as a personal user using it only as a hobby and for family photos.

I've wanted this lens for awhile I finally got it and I LOVE it. Best purshase this year thus far.
