love this camera canon 80D the only problem is the lense 18-135 mm made a lot of noise for recording after that is great beginner camera !!!

It comes with zoom enhancer and RODE microphone. Only the zoom enhancer is a little bit use full. By using the microphone, you won't be able to use the camera flash.

Omg this is absolutely the best camera ever. My husband takes a lot of pictures at the drag races and he used to take them with his cell phone. And some of the fellow racers decided to get together and buy him a professional camera for all the memories he takes for everyone for years. I did a lot of research on cameras and knew that I wanted a canon camera. I found this camera with two lenses and the video creator kit for $1200. This camera is awesome especially when we had a couple of our friends who professionally take pictures explain to him about the different settings. He's had it now almost three years and close to almost 100k pictures taken with it. His pictures are amazing. We have a friend that bought the 90d and honestly I believe the 80d does so much better. It's great it's WiFi connection to cell phones or with the canon camera connection app. My husband is not good at all when it comes to technology but after canon walked him through he now knows how if we get a new device how to setup the connection and it takes two minutes. We are actually looking to buy another 80d eos for a back up camera. Because at 100k you have to send it in to canon and they have to reset the camera back to 0. We didn't know that until a professional photographer friend of ours told us he was in the middle of a photo shoot and his canon 60d or 70d just stopped working. Called canon and they told him. Calling canon directly omg is a awesome experience. Only buy this camera through Best buy or canon. Make sure you register it on canon. They can pull up your information and know exactly when and where you bought it and if you got a extended warranty. Definitely get one. We haven't had any problems. But everyone we know that got a 90d major problem. It came out about 4 months after we got ours and the reviews were not good.

Let start by saying that I am glad I purchased this camera. I am getting into photography and videography. Using my smartphone was ok but this takes it to a whole new level. My wife has a Canon Rebel t5 and this just blows it away. Right now I am using the kit lens (18-135 mm USM). The thing I have learned is to use RAW for the formatting. I am also going full on manual. One of the best features of this camera is the dual pixel auto focus. It is fast and accurate. The face tracking keeps up with the movement of the person you are recording. Also the focus works great when I record my kids' concerts with bright lights on them (my wife's t5 struggles to focus with bright stage lights on the subjects). If there is one complaint I might have with this camera is the wifi connection. It takes a lot to get it connected to my phone. But once it does, it is handy to use when I record, especially when my camera is on the tripod and I cannot access the buttons on the back without nearly knocking the whole setup over. Another con is the lack of 4K video. But to me this is pretty minor as I record mostly in 1080P. Would I recommend this camera? If you are serious into video and photo, then yes, especially if it is on sale. If you are just starting and are unsure, try one of the lesser DSLRs.
