A: The Best Buy warranty coincides with the original manufacturer warranty. Best Buy warranty will start when you purchase the camera. The ADH warranty is definitely worth it since it covers accidental damage. You want to make sure you protect your asset, you are already spending this much money so protect your purchase and have the peace of mind knowing you can enjoy this product worry free. I would suggest go for the 3 year if possible.

A: The included lens focal length 18mm-135mm. Since this is a cropped sized sensor (APS-C) you will need to multiply those focal lengths by 1.6x. Essentially the kit lens included is 28.8mm and will zoom to 216mm. Finally, to answer your original question, this lens will zoom about 7.5x from the original focal length.
