The Best Buy warranty coincides with the original manufacturer warranty. Best Buy warranty will start when you purchase the camera. The ADH warranty is definitely worth it since it covers accidental damage. You want to make sure you protect your asset, you are already spending this much money so protect your purchase and have the peace of mind knowing you can enjoy this product worry free. I would suggest go for the 3 year if possible.

After you call tech support one time they have you set up and everytime you call they go through everything with you. And they will take as much time as possible with you. My husband had gotten a new Motorola cell phone through at&t. Got tired of his iphone. We had the canon connect app on iphone and when we got home downloaded it to the new phone. It wouldn't connect but it was still connecting to the iPad mini. So finally after two days I got my husband to call canon this was our first experience with them. The person explained to my husband how and about establishing a new connection between the camera and the new device. The person spent over a hour walking us through. I went and download the app to my phone and it connected and we both had the same phone except from different providers. Come to find out there was a defect in the phone that wouldn't allow the phone to use Bluetooth or anything. We went straight to at&t with also the camera and told them what was going on. And showed them and proved that it was a manufactured defect and to give us another phone. That one worked. And he's had to call two other times until he got it down connecting to other devices. It's paired with his cell phone, fire tablet now our friend had to come over and help us with getting the right version and compatible with the camera and canon. The fire tablet the new one is compatible with it. We didn't know how the Amazon was going to be compatible with the operating system. Android and apple are compatible. It's even compatible with a apple mini 2 but not with a apple Air laptop. The all the other apple products it is compatible but not with the air.
