If you have the skills and need for all that this camera has to offer then purchase an R5. Once you've trained your muscle memory for buttons and presets, whether still or video, the R5 doesn't miss a beat. The focus and tracking abilities are beyond amazing. Letting the camera do 99% of the focus work allows you to stay on point with the subject ultimately creating better stills and video. There is a lot going on with this camera body and it requires a significant time investment to master all that it has to offer, not to mention the financial investment. My 5d IV is now the backup.

This is a beautiful mirror less camera body. It captures fantastic images and is very easy to use. The list of features is HUGE, it’s well built and has a very sturdy feel.

Great image quality and an amazing autofocus system. I upgraded to the R5 from a 5Dmk4 and it is a huge step forward. All my EF "L" lenses work perfectly with the EF to RF adapter and this is a huge advantage. These days I have tried the camera with some nature photography and I am amazed with the quality and flexibility of the RAW files I get from the R5. Until now, I have tried the camera with my EF mount glass, but today I just ordered at Best Buy a RF 100-500 zoom, which I expect to pick-up next Friday. No doubts, this is the best camera I have ever used.

In my opinion this is the best camera on the market and all my photography friends are jealous that I can capture photos using this! Some of them are saving money to buy it. 45 mp allows me to provide commercial grade quality in any type of photo shoot! One of my favorite things is that it allows me to upload photos via bluetooth which is cool. Worth EVERY PENNY.. or should I say 100 lol The saying you get what you pay for speaks volumes for this product!

This is an amazing camera, the quality of the photos you can take are limitless, the 45 megapixel allows you to really blow up prints to whatever size you want and not loose any of the detail, worth every penny!

I have been using Canon DSLR cameras for years and shoot primarily birds and wildlife. I upgraded to mirrorless with the R7 when they launched, but wanted to add a full-frame mirrorless. This R5 was a great addition. It blows me away with the quality of photos! The ones posted are unedited. Canon doesn't disappoint!

The Canon R5 is an icon in the Canon line up ! With 45 megapixels this camera will not disappoint still a better choice then the newest R5mkII

Love the animal eye tracking! 45 megapixels is perfect for cropping but not too much for storage. I couldn’t be happier with the R5. I used to do wedding photography and wish I had this camera when I did. Low light capability is huge improvement from DSLR.

Glad i made the purchase and im not disappointed at all. From the feel of it in my hand to the pressing of the buttons. It’s effortless, the quality is almost unreal.

Excellent camera perfect for low light, I was a little short in the video, not for its quality but for its temperature, I think its successor the mark II corrects a lot, but if you want a perfect hybrid at this date I recommend it 100

LOVE IT!!! Beautiful quality, a great pick!! Being 18yrs old, living on my family farm, loving to cook, this camera will get millions of pictures taken with it. I took some pictures of water drops and zooming in you can see the water molecules!!

I had be using a Canon 80D, I got this and have been using it for a couple of months now. The detail, 45mp and eye detection is unbelievable. It is worth every penny. It works with my EF lens(with adapter) and is remarkable with the RF lens. It will not disappoint

Super sharp...had to purchase when my EOS R shutter broke and so glad I was able to find one at a nearby store so I could continue my Easter Minis the very next day
