I absolutely love this camera! I was worried I may have some buyers remorse, but haven’t had any at all. The images are crisp, able to save detail on cropped images and it works well in low light!

So far, so good. Really like this camera, coming from a 5dmk4 and it’s been a long while coming for an ungrade as I got the 5d when it came out years ago. I think the best feature of this camera is the autofocus system, I haven’t gotten the RF lenses but my EF W/an adapter work great!

Fantastic camera packed with amazing photo and video capabilities. The Dual Pixel CMOS AF makes any shot hard to miss and the face tracking is so clutch! Absolutely in love with the R5 and paired with RF glass, this setup is supreme!

Amazing camera. I was trying to hold out for the the R5 MK11. I couldn’t do it. I had to get this camera and I’m glad I did.

This camera received a lot of back lash from all ends of the internet. This was mostly in part due to Canon's advertising. I got this camera with the sole intention of it being used for photography. Sure I might put it into video some times and I have already and it works fine. I shoot kids sports and family portraits and this camera being able to shoot 12 fps with 1st curtain shutter and 20 with electronic is hands down icing on the cake. I have already gotten images i would not have been able to with the eos R. I would recommend this camera to anyone who is looking to get into photography or someone who is looking to get into video but is wanting to use an external recorder like an atomos ninja where you wont run into any over heating or memory cap issues.

I love the new Canon R5. The AF method to Face + Tracking is my favorite feature, as well as the touch screen. My Canon 1 D XII with the 100-400 II lens was to heavy for me, about 11 lbs. The Canon R5 with RF 100-500mm Lens is about 5 lbs.

One of the best professional camera for portrait photography or day time photography

Bought to replace my 7DII. The auto-focus tracking is fantastic; it can discern an object at a distance and then lock onto the face and then eye as it comes closer. The electronic shutter does 20 shots per second dead silent. Attached photo was locked onto the eye and tracking this house wren as it moved down the branches.

I am a professional concert, event and studio fashion photographer, and have been using Canon cameras for over 40 years, so this purchase was just a matter of time.

Bought it for my wife and she absolutely raves about it! She said it’s the best of the best. The face detection auto focus is magnificent and loves that it has so many megapixels so she can edit the photos with our worrying about losing too much information.
