Amazing all around camera. I mainly use it to make YouTube videos, and you simply can’t ask for a better camera. Canons menu system is very simplistic and easy to use. This camera has all the specs of much higher dollar cameras. The only things it’s lacking is weather sealing and ibis. Although ibis, in my opinion, doesn’t help all that much anyway.

I acquired this camera a few weeks ago, and it has proven to be a truly formidable tool — effortlessly wielded and conveniently portable. The main significant drawback, both for my children and me thus far, is its limited battery life. However, as the adage goes, every challenge comes with a straightforward solution.

It’s been 4 months, i did not see any bugs in it. Best for people from complete beginner to advanced level. But as it is mirrorless you can. Should Carry extra battery if you need more than 300 pics

I got a Canon R8 from best buy and it was worth it. The service was top notch and it was a hassle free purchase.
It was a gift for my wife and she loved it. Thank you @BestBuy

I’ve been really happy with the Canon EOS R8. The image quality it puts out is seriously impressive and definitely holds its own against some of the more expensive full-frame cameras. The autofocus and sensors work great too. Battery life isn’t the best, but it’s nothing you can’t plan around. Overall, for what you're paying, you're getting a camera that performs way above its price point.

I used to buy all of my products from Best Buy and have never had an issue with customer service historically. I even had a Best Buy credit card with total tech membership. I recently bought a camera online that ended up having a terrible battery life (not as advertised) and had overheating issues. I went to 2 different locations to try to return my camera (within the return window) due to the issues I was having with the camera. The first associate was blaming me for not “doing enough research on my product and that these cameras occasionally have these issues”. Nowhere did I see that in my research on the product as an issue which is why I purchased it in the first place. They told me I needed to be better informed on my purchase in the future and that they were unwilling to refund me my money without a 15% restocking fee. This is a relatively new return policy and it pretty much is impossible to get your money back after completing a purchase EVEN WHEN A PRODUCT IS FAULTY. Nowhere was is listed on my purchase receipt (even in fine print) that this was their return policy. I found it later on the Best Buy website. The unfortunate thing is that Best Buy has to be the ones to deem it faulty and they don’t spend much time actually diagnosing the issues. They just want their money. I won’t be shopping with Best Buy anymore. I have gotten appliances, cameras, laptops, all of my gaming devices, etc. I’m cancelling my credit card as well. I’m not going to shop with a company that won’t listen to me as a customer or even try find a middle ground as far as a solution. I even tried to offer an exchange and apparently that even warrants a 15% restock fee. Completely unreasonable and I can’t stomach spending that kind of money on a lemon again.

Really great camera for people wanting to start to get into the mirror less side of photography. The lens are a little on the expensive side but I personally love this camera and it does more than what I need it to do for my busniess.

This has been an amazing upgrade from my last camera. I film content and it has helped me take great footage and shots. There are feature that I’m working with and I’m so glad that I overextended myself, but worth the risk. I have been exciting learning all this camera can do to help me grow my business! You won’t disappointed!

Ive been using this camera for the past few weeks and its a beast. I mostly use it for photography and it does an amazing Job, i mean full frame, mirrorless (for 1500 with kit lens) this is a gift. Now the kit lens its no the best but for everyone who gets into photography this will do the work. I love it

Me and my husband were looking for a camera to do our own photoshoot of our family. We decided to go for the Canon R8 because based on the description of image quality and so much more was perfect for us who had no experience taking pictures
