This one was a gift for my daughter but I recently bought myself the same camera, my first digital SLR. I've owned a Nikon 35mm and 2 Canon point and shoot digital cameras and have had luck with both so it was a tough brand choice. I bought this one mainly because of my previous experience with my other Canon camera which was and still is trouble free after 5 years and I use it a lot for my business. Sometimes I shoot 150+ pictures at a time. I've shot with my new DSLR several times now and I like the shots I get and also the ease of use on the camera. I have a lot to learn about it still but having the fully automatic mode to help out until I do learn more is very helpful. Overall I am very pleased. Otherwise I wouldn't have bought a second one for my 18yr. old daughter

This camera is very good quality for the price. The instructions are easy to understand. The camera itself is very light and easy to hold with the strap that comes with it.

I had a Nikon D3K prior to this and was an extremely satisfied user. My camera got misplaced and i was recommended to buy a Canon by a friend. This was on a promotion and I picked it up. Super impressed with the results... definitely better than the Nikon i had previously and the models are comparable in terms of price etc

I would personally recommend this camera to the beginners who are starting with the DSLR. Instead of spending a lot of money on the high-end DSLRs to start with, this one comes within a nice budget. This camera has a very good resolution and a flip-out screen to see the photos taken. It has a better battery and the camera is more compact to take it around. It sometimes lags behind SL2 in some features but this T6 gives good value for money. If you’ve never owned a DSLR this is a good camera to learn on, but if you want to go a little further with your DSLR, I’d definitely be looking at a camera like the SL2, Canon t6i or t6s.

I absolutely love this camera! I was eyeing it for a while, it was within my budget and had other good reviews. It’s lightweight, takes good pictures and the battery charges very quickly.

I had a Rebel EOS that was about 10 yrs old and was still working very well with no problems. My former Rebel decided to take a dip in the Arabian Ocean and of course drowned. Because it was such a great camera, I decided to purchase another Canon Rebel and so far am very pleased with this one too. Actually I love it

I bought this camera because I wanted to start taking pictures in a more professional level. I am a beginner still learning my ways around my camera, but so far, pictures have been coming out amazing! I am so happy I got this camera for the price I got it for which was $399, $427 with tax. I've been taking my camera everywhere (if possible) and have been able to capture very amazing moments that I couldn't take before with my phone. Yet again, I didn't really know how to maneuver my phones camera very well. So far this camera takes great quality pictures and I can't wait to take more amazing pictures with it! Will probably give an update once I have more practice!

Great combo deal with the extra lens, especially for the price. A good intro package to start with. I love it. It even feels good to handle. Balanced well, feels solid.

First DSLR. It's been very easy to use and takes excellent pics. Auto flash sometimes over whitens a picture, but just switch to no flash mode and you are good to go. Would highly recommend.

I bought this on Black Friday of 2016 because I felt like I wanted to buy a camera, but didn't want to spend more than 400 dollars. If you're considering a DSLR, WAIT UNTIL BLACK FRIDAY. The sale might not be exactly the same, but I got this bundle plus an SD card for under $400 because I wanted a month. I saved about fifty percent because I waited and I strongly recommend you do a bit of research into the pros and cons of each camera. The only downside is that the screen on this camera does not move, though most of the time you'll be using the viewfinder anyway. The video quality and mic quality is good, obviously not the best sound, but better than a smartphone. Overall, I'd give this probably a 9/10.

I stopped by the best buy store looking for a camera that would be good for beginners since I've never owned more than a camera phone. I spoke with one of the associates in the store and they recommended this one. I trusted his opinion and couldn't imaging a better camera. I took a trip to Hawaii right after buying and was so happy i did. Pictures are 100x better than with my iphone! definitely would recommend!

Amazing camera & easy to use/setup. I love the wifi setting, which makes uploading pictures seamless. It's a good beginner's camera & while it is a pricey investment, it is definitely worth the money.

One of my coworkers inspired me to get this camera. He does excellent photography work and after looking at all his final results I was amazed. The photos were so realistic and beautiful that I wanted to create something like that. I asked him for some advice and he told me to get this camera, and since it was a Black Friday deal, I decided that I'll take a shot at it. I've snapped so many pictures and was satisfied with the quality it portrayed. I think this camera is definitely worth the buy, especially as a beginner and not knowing anything about photography, I picked up quickly. It is an easy camera to use and I was able to work my way around in less than a week. Definitely satisfied with my buy!

Great camera so far so good. Easy to use tone of information for beginners online and NFC, WiFi capabilities make it that much more convenient to upload stuff in few seconds. Recommend to anyone and everyone. Only downside I wish it had more megapixel but unless you are enlarging the pic to gigantic size I think it's still very good for what it is.
