Great camera. It has a great picture and is reliable. I am a beginner photographer using the for hobbies and it is a blast. I might have gone with the T6i for the moving screen if there wasn't a deal that included the bad and extra lens for the T6.

This camera was purchased for a photography startup that I'm working to get off the ground. For the price that was paid, it's an acceptable camera providing average quality images. The body itself feels comfortable in the hands, and isn't overly heavy. The sensor does produce a fair amount of visible grain, even under optimal conditions. Low light performance isn't acceptable, and produces extensive noise on dark surfaces at ISO 800 and over. Auto focus is relatively slow, sometimes taking 2-3 seconds to find a proper focus point. Continuous shooting is mediocre, capturing about 3 fps, with a 7 frame buffer when shooting RAW only. That provides approximately 2 seconds of continuous shooting before slowing to 1 shot per second afterwards. I don't shoot JPEG only, as I can't afford to have non-editable photos. The 18-55mm lens produces some decent quality images, but is still noticeably "kit lens" in quality. I find it to be acceptable for typical private family photo type work. The 75-300 is a lens with poor characteristics. The images produced with it yield almost no clarity whatsoever. Detail is non-existent to the point that most photos feel like the focus is just ever so slightly off. This lens rarely comes out of my bag, and when it does, I expect the images to be mostly unusable. If you're expecting to pick this camera up, and produce awe-inspiring, award winning shots, you're likely to be disappointed. If photography is just a way to record the places that you've been, this camera may suffice.
