Canon T6 Rebel
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my third Canon camera but my first SLR camera and thus far its all I expected. Currently taking a camera class and its interesting to note that 8 of the 13 students have the Canon Rebel T6 with the 18-55 and 75-300mm lens. You really need to down load the full camera manual from the web site to get the most of your camera features. Would have been nice to have had U/V filters included to protect your new lens. Looking to purchase a lens hood and spare battery now.

||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would just like to say for someone like myself who has never owned a camera like this before how simple and easy it was to use. If you are looking for the camera and you know nothing about photography this would be the camera for you. The types of pictures I was able to take for simply amazing. It gets the job done.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This camera is ok, but it’s not my favorite. I am a professional photographer and I’ve been shooting with Nikon for the last 20 years. I recently decided to expand into the photo booth business. The system that I purchased was only compatible with canon cameras, and this camera was one of the ones that was on the recommended buying list. I’ll just say here that I like nikons better. This camera works, but there are things about it that I would change. For some reason, the ability to use live view turns off by itself. I then have to go into the menus and select that I do want the camera to allow live view as a method of use. Also, there is not a way to manually enter the color temperature that you want to shoot with. There are some pre set options, but if one is too blue and the next is too yellow, you can’t just type in a number that is halfway in between. There is an option to take a photo of a grey card. The camera then generates what it thinks the best color balance is, based on that photo, and if you don’t like it, it can be changed by moving a point around on a graph chart, but this method is annoying and time consuming. Additionally, I just don’t like any of the auto focus methods, which also don’t work half of the time. I’ve had to manually focus the camera, the majority of the times that I’ve used it. The quality of the photos is fine, for what I’m using it for. Maybe I’m just used to better cameras. I guess if you didn’t really know what you were doing and you just wanted to shoot on Auto and you weren’t a perfectionist, like me, then you might like this camera more than I do.

Great Black Friday
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a Black Friday purchase. I was looking for a camera to take with me on a cruise to the Antarctic. I was expecting to see spectacular scenery and also come close to the wildlife (mostly penguins) so I needed a camera that could accomplish both yet be simple enough for a novice like me. Luckily there was someone on the cruise who helped me to understand the various functions. I came away with great pictures so I would definitely recommend this one.
