Good entry level kit

I wanted to get a camera before they are banned from sale as non-essential. A bit of a learning curve even if you are tech savvy. Of course, you could just leave it in "Auto Mode" and shoot all day. There is NOT a touch screen, and the menu is a bit scattered and awkward. The kit comes with one battery, but the Canon replacement batteries are far overpriced. (about $50.00). Generic batteries available online for about $20.00. You will also need to add your own memory card for extra storage. It does NOT shoot 4K video so you can likely get better video quality from your mobile phone. Also, the lenses that come with it are considered entry level quality Look on the canon site for all the free software available for download. The Canon Digital Photo Pro is highly recommended especially if you plan to edit RAW photos. Who is John Galt ?

Awesome camera

The new technology in this one is just amazing. I still haven’t figured everything out, but I’m excited about all of the new features.
