This camera was purchased as a gift for someone. It takes great professional looking pictures and is easy to use.

I initially bought this camera for my husband because he was tired of the basic digital cameras. Although the camera itself takes good pictures, the settings are a bit confusing, He had to youtube videos on how to take raw shots vs normal pictures. The lenses make the camera very heavy and it becomes hard to hold it still. You can only get 5 pictures per second so this was not good when we tried taking pictures of the kids running or in action. Needless to say we will be returning it for the mirrorless sony alpha 6000.

So far, it's been a good camera. In sports mode it is quite difficult to get a proper focus. But, overall, it Is a great camera to start learning the basics.
