I have really enjoyed learning to use this camera. I found some helpful videos on YouTube to get started. I've had it for about a month and have gotten some great shots.

Great starter DSLR kit

This is a great starter DSLR camera kit. It comes with everything you need (minus a memory card) to take great pictures. You even get a bag that has room for the camera and extras. I heard and read many horror stories about kit lenses but these are pretty good even in low light. This kit is perfect for a beginner. Someone who isn't tech savvy and doesn't want to make a big investmsnt in a camera with a lot of bells and whistles they likely won't use. Then have to buy lenses separately. The T6 is easy to navigate and learn how to use. Especially if you're coming from a Canon point and shoot like I did. I went on YouTube and learned a lot watching videos and went on Canons website too which was very helpful. Canon makes a huge variety of lenses. Most of them are interchangeable with most of their camera bodies. You will have no problem upgrading or picking up other lenses that are better quality or suited for shooting different things should you choose to do so. I will probably pick up a 50mm lens here shortly. The T6 is fairly light and easy to carry compared to many other DSLRs I've seen. This is nice because you'll have it with you more often. The canon camera connect app works seamlessly for wireless transferring of your photos to your computer, phone or tablet which I personally LOVE. The downfall of this camera is the video quality. It may get somewhat better with a better quality lens but right now it is comparable to what my Galaxy S7 edge takes. This is an entry level DSLR through so it wouldn't be realistic to expect it to take extremely high quality video. All in all a good, easy to learn on starter DSLR camera kit for as reasonable of a price as you're going to find. I recommend it.

I love this camera so far. It's a great camera for a beginner, is well priced, and I like the two lenses and case that came with the camera. I would definitely recommend this product if you think you may use a regular lense as well as a zoom lense. One thing to keep in mind is that the Canon lenses are great quality, and you can always upgrade the body later if you choose! Love the WiFi on the camera - as someone who does a lot of camping/backpacking, I am able to send the photos to my phone while on the go (and out of cell phone/wifi range). Also, Best Buy often offers photography classes which is a great help if you're new to using a camera. Definitely recommend buying this set from Best Buy! Just don't forget the memory chip :)

EXCELLENT! Absolutely Amazing!

I was a "Point-N-Shooter" and wanted to upgrade to a DSLR without paying my entire life savings! This bundle is fantastic! The 18-55mm kit lens is amazing however, the 75-300mm I don't use much because it doesn't have the stabilizer like the 18-55 so there for you NEED a tripod! I also purchased the 50mm f1.8 Canon lens as well in the same order! The order I got is absolutely amazing! So you may wanna invest in a 50mm lens as well if your looking at this review! But overall I rate it a 9/10 only reason being is it dosnt have an articulated screen and I wasn't about to spend an extra $200+ on the T6i just for more MP and a tilty screen! Overall amazing! I love it!
Sincerely,
MemoriesByMyan(:

A great Camera at a Great Price

We wanted something better than the camera we had, but didn't want to spend a lot of money, especially as we're not camera buffs, just folks who like to take nice pics on occasion. This kit fills the bill and then some. We've shot over 500 great photos in the short time we've had it, and they are flawless! The Rebel T6 is easy to operate, yet has sophisticated features for more in depth work. The second lens included also allows for more creativity and variance. I would highly recommend this set for just about anyone due to its versatility and price.

This bundle includes a carrying bag, 16 gigabyte SD card, rechargeable battery, battery charger, camera strap, camera body, 18-55mm lens, and a 75-300mm lens. The camera bag provides an adequate amount of space to carry all of the components included in the bundle along with extra space that allows for other accessories to be carried along with the camera. It allows for easy and safe transportation of the camera, however it is not ideal to carry along if you plan on taking it on nature or action shoots. The 16 gigabyte SD card functions well with a relatively swift read speed at 80 MB/s and you can hold several thousand photos or multiple hours of video. An intensive day of photography is not a problem for the battery life of the included rechargeable battery. It can easily last a full day of shooting and can handle multiple days of moderate use. If you have access to a wall outlet, the battery charger works relatively fast and can recharge the battery within the hour. The previously described components of the bundle are great accessories, however the actual camera is the real deal of the bundle. Some of the specs include an 18.0 Megapixel image sensor, which is excellent for speed and quality of capturing photos; ISO 100-6400, allowing agility with shooting in a range of light conditions from low light to bright light; built-in Wi-Fi capabilities, making image accessibility and sharing incredibly fluid by making images available through a user friendly application that can be downloaded on a smartphone; high performance optical viewfinder, aiding in speedy and accurate focus of the subject of the picture. This bundle is excellent for many levels of photographer from beginner to intermediate. Not only does this bundle provide a complete starting kit, it is pre-programmed that makes it user friendly and adjustable to fit the user's needs. The 18-55mm lens allows for closer shots, while the 75-300mm lens is capable of significant optical zoom allowing you to focus in on subjects that are relatively far from where you are posted. There are also many built in settings that are specialized for different conditions such as portrait, landscape, action, and others which makes photography accessible to beginner photographers, and it also has multiple manual setting giving you the option to modify the exact options to fit your needs for the perfect shot. Overall, this is a great product if you are wanting to get the hang of photography or ramp up the quality of photos that you do take. It is excellent for beginners and experienced photographers alike .

Awesome Camera!! I love it!!! Back in 1999 I purchased a Canon Rebel camera (non digital) and I have been very apprehensive about purchasing a digital since technology changes so quickly.... I love this camera though. I have been using it a lot for youth hockey action shots, where there is netting or plexi-glass between me and the skater, the settings allow me to manually focus on the player, not the netting. Lighting options are very important, every ice rink varies. I have truly been enjoying this camera!!!!
