Basic camera great for starting. But theres no automatic focus, and you also cant plug in audio sources like mics.

Great pictures, not so great video. Lots of features for manual photo adjustment but also ready to use auto adjustments makes it easy to capture great variety of photos. Good value for price if used for photography only.

I love Canon Rebel cameras. I upgraded from 3 to 7. It’s a very easy camera to use whether you used pre programmed settings or manual. Personally I prefer manual. This one has built in WiFi which is convenient for many reasons.
