I wished I would have known it was not a "full frame" camera but rather electronically cropped images.....

I use the camera for video production for a Youtube channel. The yellow hue is ugly. I always know when a Youtuber is using a Canon T7i because the production looks yellow.

    Canon Rebel T7i

Have been a loyal Canon camera owner with point and shoot cameras for years. Needed a camera that’s good with low light shooting because my Canon G9 X Mark II works sometimes and not all the time. Canon customer service said that with the G9, best to take pictures in auto which would basically have the camera take in all the light filtered around to light the picture. A lot of times the picture is over saturated and too light. Even with motion shots indoor, there is blur and delay. They also suggested the Tv mode to take pictures to catch motion fast but the problem is the flash drowns the background of pictures. Considering spending so much money on a camera it should be perfect but it’s not as easy as a point and shoot should be. My first canon camera was the best but digital camera batteries start not working and so many camera upgrades over the years. So after researching online with videos and reading articles....the Canon T7i came recommended more than the T7. Reading about it... they say the T7i is more advanced than the T7 even though the T7i came out first. So far I like it. It came with 2 camera lens, a camera bag, strap for camera, battery and charger, and a 32gb memory card. Box was dented a bit on arrival from ordering online. Brought it into a local store and they opened it up to check the camera out to make sure it wasn’t damaged so that there would not be a restocking fee if there is an issue. So far I like it. When purchasing it from Best Buy, there was a free tripod which works great for our family pictures. The Canon camera has the WiFi app Canon Connect that comes in handy when taking family pictures. Pictures sometimes come out blurry. Not sure if it’s my human error. The pictures I do take come out pretty clear with the pop up flash. Not sure if that always goes off or how to turn it off. So far I have explored auto and portrait. Portrait seems like the best setting so far for indoors. Still learning to use the camera but so far, it’s a very nice camera with great pictures in low light. Video seems okay. For a point and shoot ... you want something you can just pick up and take pictures. This camera is helpful with the assist screens that describe each mode to you when you look on the display. That makes you want to try different modes to explore which is best for what setting and subject. I like the display screen can pop out and turn around when you’re taking selfies or family pictures. Not sure how to make the screen stay on though. Would be helpful for family pictures to know where you are in the shot. After you take some shots, it turns off. Not sure if that’s a setting. Also it is a touch screen display. Overall I would recommend this product for a newbie to dslr like I am. Very nice product.
