The instructions for setup were horrible. I have set up printers and this one was the worst by far. I ended up taking it back and exchanging it for a Brother printer.

THIS IS THE W O R S T PRINTER SCANNER I HAVE EVER BOUGHT!!! HAD SAME DEFECTIVE ISSUE WITH SCANNER THREE TIMES. NEVER WILL I BUY THIS MODEL AGAIN.

What happened to Best buy. I attempted to contact customer service after my item that was supposed to be delivered the next day took almost a week to arrive. Customer service was terrible and lied straight to my face. They blamed Fedex, for their mistake. Anyways done with best buy. Went on amazon and purchased same item, and got it delivered faster. I will be returning Best buys shipment. Go Amazon!

The quality of the scans and copies is just fair. But it is reasonably priced.

I spent hours trying to get this printer to syc to my network and then operate all three functions. Tech support couldn't get the scan function to work and said to call security provider. That was a dead end. I returned this item. I will avoid Canon products.

How is it possible that the model# on my receipt doesn’t match the model# in my extended warranty? My printer doesn’t turn on. The geek squad couldn’t help. Email address given by Bailey for proof of purchase was incorrect

Wish I never bought this. It constantly loses connection or won’t wake up. Loses connection and display can be pixelated at times.

Difficult to set up, impossible to work wirelessly. Box includes a setup CD. Who uses CDs? After I finally got it working it spontaneously shoots out pape randomly. Absolutely the worst printer ever!!!

Item didn’t work had to call the manufacturer to get it replaced because Best Buy wouldn’t take it back since I was shy of 2 days of there policy. Had death in family and cannon replaced it with a refurbished one

After assembling printer, I pressed the start button and nothing happened… no power , printer did not start. I am in the process of returning it to Best Buy.

Retuned item. Directions did not adequately relate how to set up product. I was afraid I ruined printer following directions.

This is a brand new printer, yet I am still unable to set it up correctly. Despite days, even months, of attempts, it remains in a continuous loading state. At this point, I am considering returning it immediately.

I bought this printer as a new item from Best Buy a month ago and at max have printed 20 pages of simple text with it. Meanwhile the ink has already run out! Unbelievable!

This is a poor machine that I tried to use solely as a fax. It was nothing but trouble. Had to use Geek Squad for a home visit to set it up and I still cannot receive faxes. Now it just gives me error messages.

NOT the best - Ink is light when printing and we are still having trouble connecting to wireless printing - should have gone with a different model

Worked out fine first few weeks. Now it won’t connect to my computer and phone.

had to hold up control panel when using as it would not lock into an upright position. A nuisance.. after 3 months use, I would get an error message when I tried to print from my computer; could not be repaired.

Never worked after Geek squad tried to install it. Upgrade to a Brother Lazer.

LOVE this printer. We finally bailed on our HP. Way too many problems with having to unplug/reset/remove and reinstall. My wife finally told me to get rid of it! So wanted something that was reliable and easy to use. Read the reviews and decided to try the cannon. Set up was fairly simple. For some reason when i tried to use the WPS button on my router, it wouldn't sync up so I just did it manually. It did ask for a PSK key during set up, and usually (the way i understand it) the PSK is different than a password. For this application when it asks for a PSK after you select your wireless network, however, they just want your password to your network. Once i figured that out, we were golden. My dell laptop and my acer desktop easily recognized the printer, and my wife can also print from her iphone so everyone is happy! (With the HP, for some reason i could only print from the desk top about 80% of the time, and my laptop and my wifes phone could never pick it up. So, we are happy happy happy with this cannon!

I bought this printer for scanning. The feeder is not made for double sided scanning, which defeats the purpose of me buying it.
