I have been happy with the value from this machine so far. While I do not like the software cannon uses the machine itself is good.

Great printer and the price was also and easy to use...

Print quality is poor. I tried replacing the starter cartridge (which was at 90% full) only to have the same results with a new cartridge. I changed all the print quality settings with no luck. Setup was difficult, I had to contact Canon support. The support was great with Canon.

Very complicated to set up. Barely got it to print B&W after several hours trying to download all drivers. Bought it to save $$ on inkjet. Instructions are terrible

This printer is okay. A number of issues though: 1) The print quality is not consistent. Streaks and smudges and lack of clarity often. Not much contrast in the monochrome. 2) Connectivity is really poor. I have it hardwired (because setting up the wireless connection is RIDICULOUSLY complex for this model), but I have to pause, reconnect cables, or stope and start over completely before it will print. 3) Scanning is hit or miss. Honestly, if I had to do over again I would have spent a few more bucks and bought something else.

I have had a series of problems with this printer. I had to have the Geek Squad work on it remotely at least 5 times before it would print. Finally they sent a tech to my home and I thought it was fixed then, however the scanner would not work. An administrator where I live worked on it and for about 3 days it was working beautifully! For the past week I have not been able to scan anything. I keep getting messages that the scanner is not connected to the computer, but it is connected by the same USB cable that it was connected with when it was working fine. I am very disappointed in this purchase!

This is a basic laser printer. Fairly quiet. The wireless connection is a bit difficult to setup but Canon support was helpful.

So far isn’t too bad. It was little bit a technical issues. One of my lap top had issues using this printer.

Decent machine size is rather large, so make sure you have an idea of where you're going to store it.

The setup for this piece of garbage is maddening. Out of the box, it seems pretty straightforward. Connect to the wireless WIFI and should be good to go. I pull up a document on my phone, hit print, the new printer shows as the option to connect, hit print, and nothing happens. I turn the printer off, my phone off, turn them back on, and try again…Nothing. I look up Canon support, call them, wait for 43 minutes while listening to the same 7 bars of some terrible classical music, and finally get a really nice guy to help. He runs me through 35 minutes of MANY attempts, which included carrying the printer upstairs and attaching it to my router with an Ethernet cable. He finally gave up, so I guess I’ll return it and hope another brand actually works.

Its a best all in one printer for small business/family

Works great and glad to not have to buy ink so frequently

Looks like the use of tonner is very economical, working with multiple computers thru direct wiring and Wi-Fi as well

Not the easiest to read set up procedure. It`s working but I don`t think it`s complete.
