Not a better option for what I wanted

A great bargain for a laser printer.

I did have to keep turning it on and off to get to the printer to see my internet. All of the installation was done via cable connection first via the website. My laptop does not have a cd drive.

Printer good setup not so

But the package comes with a CD-ROM driver... really? I don't even have any player to read it. Canon is not up to dated. Also this printer doesn't support AirPrint directly. I tried to set it up following Canon's instructions but can't get it to work. The alternative to print directly from my iphone is $19 Printopia.

Does not print on both sides of paper which is incredibly wasteful and expensive. Steams when printing more than a couple pages at a time.
