Where is the scanning feature controls?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Printing is like magic with this thing. However, I got a rude awakening when it came to scanning. My old Brother Printer came with a nice program for scanning and I expected the same when I bought this Cannon - not so lucky, I'm afraid. After giving up on solving myself, I had to get tech support. They told me that I had to seek out "an app" to get it to scan for me and offered online remote installation of an app. At first, it worked adequately, but suddenly it started scanning with chopped off edges making documents unusable. Fortunately, I did not take my old Brother off line yet. I'm keeping my Brother printer.

Great printer with an mazing sale price $269!

Not sure why Canon still package it with a CD's to install but you can download the file from their website. Once you select your operating system go down all the way to the file that install all (printer, scanner and fax). Rest is straight forward. Make sure if you are installing as a WIFI printer to not connect the printer cable.
