Great Printer With Wonderful Tech Support

The installation was a little difficult because my laptop doesn't have a CD drive. I had to call Tech Support in order to get all of the scan features working, but the Canon representative was wonderful and very patient.

It's a Winner!

Replacement cartriges are not cheap, but none of them are, and when you compare their cost against others, you get way more prints per dollar than any ink-jet out there. We'll see how well it holds up over time. Waaah Hooo!

I settled on the HP Office Jet Pro9130 Series. So far it's pretty good - definitely smaller and lighter than the Canon. I'm not super happy with the auto-feeder scanner since it only takes a few pages at a time and if the pages are too crisp and stuck together it won't separate them, which results in additional scanning.

Slightly Dissappointed.

It is constantly dropping offline and seems to need a power cycle to reset itself. IMO the color rendition could be stronger, more vibrant. When it does print it does a fast job of it.

In the past I've always purchased ink jet printers, but the print head would always need to be replaced. So I decided my next printer would be a laser printer. So the test of time will decide if I made the right choice.
