Highly recommended
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, I cannot say enough positive things about this canon printer. The print quality is excellent. The functionality is excellent and the speed is impeccable. The only negative thing that I can think of is the paper tray is a bit small. However, I would recommend this printer for students, small businesses, or even large businesses with departments that would need an excellent printer to themselves. Canon really outdid their selves on this printer. I would recommend this printer for any student because you will get the colored infographics as well as high-quality prints in black-and-white as well as color. Please note, the printer is very heavy, and should be sat on a sturdy surface. The connectivity is seamless and the scan function is high-quality compared to its competitors. I have found that other colored printers tend to be a bit slower when executing papers with a lot of color, however, it appears that this canon has not been affected by that same issue and delivers continual results. I highly recommend this printer!

Fantastic Printer

Simple to use, while also having the ability for customizeable program functions. Print quality is great. Quite compact for a printer with it's capabilities.

Want features? Want quality? Want speed? Get this!
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve wanted a laser printer for quite a while now but have always settled for inkjet printers because they typically cost less. But while they do typically cost less, you get what you pay for and I’ve never been fully satisfied with the print quality or print times from the inkjet printers I’ve owned. Working in an office for most of my life I’ve used plenty of laser printers but I’ve never owned one until now! And I can happily report that the Canon MF753Cdw has been everything I’ve ever wanted in a home office printer and even more! This printer far exceeds my expectations in both print quality, speed, functionality, durability and overall product performance. The printer arrived in a heavy duty box and was well packaged and easy to unpack, though the box does weigh approximately 70lbs, so keep that in mind. The printer is 48.5lbs, so once you have it unpacked it’s a bit easier to manage. I’ve spent the past week or so getting to know my new printer and let me tell you, there is a lot to learn. Setup with wifi from the printer control panel is quick and easy. But once you get the basics set up, network connection, passwords, and an update to all the drivers on the computer you’ll be using, there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to managing the printer and taking full advantage of all it has to offer. To give you an idea, the full user guide download is 801 pages long. There is also an online version of the user guide that is mobile friendly and searchable to make it a bit more user friendly. Working from home I often print contracts, and other reports to review while I’m away from my desk. I appreciate a hard copy, especially if I’m going to be reading it close to bedtime. I also have a side-job selling merchandise on various online marketplaces so I use this printer for printing shipping labels and customer invoices as well as any other print jobs that come up during my day. Everything I’ve printed so far has come out perfectly and faster than I thought was possible. No more smudging ink or waiting for the paper to dry. No more curled pages or ripples in the paper from the wet ink. I’m so happy with the laser printer quality. It looks great and it is incredibly fast. I ran a side-by-side print test comparison with my inkjet printer, printing a 25 page color document with lots of photos. The Canon MF753Cdw finished the entire print job before my inkjet was finished with the first page, no kidding. It really took me by surprise at just how fast it is. The inkjet print was a little darker, but other than that the Canon wins on quality and speed hands down. I love everything about the design of this printer. Accessing the toner, paper tray, any potential paper jams and everything is super easy and very well thought out. Speaking of paper jams, I’ve printed a few hundred pages so-far, on a variety of paper types and have not had one jam yet. Nothing, no jams! I really like that I can scan photographs from the scan tray without needing to lift the top and place them directly on the glass. I’ve already started scanning a few old family photo albums. It works great and is easy, they scan directly to your computer once you get it set up. Another great feature is the touchscreen LCD control panel, which, by the way, is fully customizable (another one of those many features to learn). The touch screen works great and the display is bright and easy to read. As somebody who works from home, and as a small business owner, I am extremely happy with my new Canon imageCLASS printer. This is not only the best printer I’ve ever owned, it’s one of the nicest printers I’ve had the pleasure of using. It fulfills all of my home office and small business needs quickly and with great quality. If you're tired of waiting for your slow printer to produce wet pages, then switch to this Canon MF753Cdw, you will love it more and more every time you use it!

Good print quality, good looking case and design
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I print about 200 pages a week and I do some major scanning so when I got this printer before TAX SEASON (!) I was pretty glad to have it. Scanning is fast and reliable. The software is pretty basic and I think the OCR is fairly easy. I’m not sure if the OCR is an Adobe PDF thing but it all worked out as I expected. I was glad to see that the printer quickly scanned double sided items. I wish the software could tell when a side was empty and “delete” it from the batch, but maybe that isn’t a good idea if you’re trying to make an exact copy. I thought the scanner tray could only be made better if it could accept different sizes of paper in the stack, but the only time I’ve seen that is in really expensive commercial scanners. I really like the size of the printer. This replaces my much loved PageWide printer from “another company” and my family was against me getting this printer, but the PageWide, although fast caused me a lot of headaches from maintenance on an array of inkjets. I really wanted to go back to the reliability and lower cost per page from laser. When I replaced the massive PageWide with this printer, I got the ooo and ahhh from the family peanuts and it was a good feeling right away seeing the small printer print so fast and beautifully. I didn’t use the fax at all because I just don’t have anyone to fax right now. How do you test a fax without another fax? I wasn’t so happy about the light construction of the paper trays. Coming from a pro inkjet, I thought the laser printer would have a much more sturdy tray. I don’t know if it would last as long as my previous printer. I guess time will tell. The printer prints in CYMK so isn’t great for photographs but is great for documents with illustrations and other small drawings. I thought text was sharp and with a high white paper will probably have good contrast. I used a lower quality paper (I’m cheap) but I got good results. Also, the print cartridges are double the cost of my previous XL inkjet carts. I can’t tell whether it’s a good value yet or not. Because I’m coming from a PageWide that had extremely inexpensive price per page, I’m wondering if the $100 each C/Y/M and $90 K cartridges will yield as much. I would recommend this for small to medium home office use and small to medium offices with a weekly duty of under a thousand pages. It doesn’t seem like you can upgrade the printer to more than 1000 pages of storage, and although it’s fast, it’s not fast enough for a heavy use environment, nor are the carts economical for that use. For my purposes, this printer is fairly good, easy to install, and good looking physically. I just wish it had the photo printing capability of my previous inkjet printer!

Monster Printer. Does everything you’ll need.
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As soon as this came, I thought it must have been the wrong unit. Please be aware if you’re buying this - it’s huge. At least it’s bigger than any other printer I’ve ever had. The box is easily 50 pounds and seemingly bigger than both my 2 cubic foot microwave and 8 quart air fryer (both of which shocked me by their size…until I saw this box). Once you’ve gotten past the potential size shock, find a space for it (I had to get a new spot because my existing printer stand that held my Brother 2750 was too small), and get help lifting it out of the box, you’re treated to maybe the last printer you’ll ever need. Having owned Brother, HP, and other cheaper Canon printers, this one seems to be of the highest quality. The weight gives it a premium feel and the touch screen is bigger and more responsive than any other printer I’ve tried. Set up was quick and easy to get on my Wi-Fi. I didn’t use any Canon software; Windows installed the driver automatically and the printer showed up in my iPhone AirPrint automatically, as well. I was able to print everything I threw at it, including pictures, PDFs, and plain text in great quality. Obviously, photos didn’t show up as nicely as they do on a photo printer due to the fact that I was printing on plain paper, but I did print on laser sticker paper and cut out some stickers with my Cricut and the quality was as good as my basic inkjet. The feeder and copier were as good as my old imagerunner, can’t complain. I’m not a super picky printer person; I just want it to work when I need it. After a month of use, I couldn’t be happier. The only thing I fear is that toner will break my pockets. As of right now, nobody seems to have the 069 cartridges for a reasonable price. I’m spoiled by 3rd party Brother refills, so hopefully the price comes down (probably not) or a 3rd party swoops in with some affordable options. I can’t really deduct a star for a lack of 3rd party toner options… well, I can but I won’t because I really like this printer. It stayed connected to Wi-Fi and printed everything I sent to it without fuss. That’s all I can ask for.

Super printer!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer can handle anything you throw at it. Productivity through the roof. Paper jams are easy to handle. Toner brings clarity to any project whether in color or b&w. Fits in tight spaces easily so it won't take up a lot of space on your desk. Can print from laptop, tablet and phone with very little issues.

Great Printer - Lots of Features
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had on older model (MF8200 series) Canon color laser printer very similar to this one that has been very reliable. I decided to get this one because its specs show faster print speeds as well as automatic double-sided printing, and it has a simpler touch-screen interface. This printer does not disappoint! Print speeds are very fast. One thing that I didn't like about my previous printer was that while the first print job came out quickly, it took the printer a while to warm-up and start printing the next job. This one is as fast on the 2nd job as the first - and boy is it fast! I love the features of this printer. Automatic double-sided printing saves paper and makes it so easy to print material for binding. The quality is very good, too. It's not going to replace a good photo printer, but color images are clear, with fantastic color matching. It's definitely magazine quality. There are really only two things I don't like about this printer. One is that when used as a network-connected printer, the scan utility is a bit "disconnected". Instead of a one-button scan to disk file, you have to initiate the scan from the computer. The other issue is that toner is VERY expensive compared to other color laser printers. And since this is such a new model, there are no aftermarket or refill options yet. I do really like this printer and highly recommend it.

Better, faster, smaller, slightly less economical
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new Canon! So fast! The images are crisp and vibrant. The machine is slightly more compact while retaining tray sheet capacity. However, the toner cartridges are smaller and dont get as many clicks per image as my previous mf731.

Great do it all printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ive been through my share of printers and there is one thing that seems to always happen. I like the printer at first, and then it runs out of ink. And for the most part all the other printers have been a hassle when it comes to that. My last one wouldnt even allow black and white shipping labels to be printed when the cyan ran out? Anyway that is a thing of the past here. The Canon printer does it all and does it well. This is my first printer that has toner instead of traditional ink cartridges. And it seems to just print and print. Color prints are crisp and almost photo like. But what I really love is just how fast this thing prints. Our main printer takes FOREVER to warm up. Then by the time I get out there to check it the Wifi has dropped. But with the Canon it spits out the print within seconds. I love being able to just click print from my phone and have a shipping label ready to go in no time. Im sure the toner will eventually run out and when it does I am not looking forward to it. Toner is close to $200, but thankfully the high capacity toner lasts a lot longer than most printers. If you are looking for a printer that can do it all from simple shipping labels all the way to beautiful color prints this is the way to go.

Solid Printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a solid printer. I run a small business and, while we try to be paperless, we still need print some things on a fairly regular basis. This is reasonably quick, prints 2-sided, and has decent print quality. It’s not small, but it fits on my desk. Install was a bit of effort, but not too bad. I’m really happy with it so far.

Canon MF753Cdw Color Laser Printer review
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Quality for b&w and color is excellent. However, the toner cartridges are quite small. This will require buying new toner soon, which is just as expensive as the printer itself! There is a toner-saver setting however, which seems to cut down toner density a little.

Great MFC but bad ARM driver compatibility
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all the hardware gets 5 stars. Canon makes a really good product. BUT their drivers have not kept up with current processor trends. Specifically if you have a tablet, surface, or budget computer like you get at box stores with a ARM-based architecture processor (e.g. snapdragon) there is a good chance the full functionality driver set from canon will fail to install. You will still be able to use the MS OS generic driver. You will be disappointed here because they have only basic options and are especially frustrating when it comes to scanning features. My office has a mix of business laptops and tablets. Intel based chipsets load the canon software suite and work very well. Any surface with a snapdragon or other ARM processor will not. I am really hoping canon gets up to speed here because that’s the direction budget computers are moving. If Epson made a laser I would switch because their drivers are ready for prime time. My office has their inkjet and that suite works great on everything and their mobile app is pretty good as well. Summary Great in an intel based office environment But AVOID if you have ARM budget computers Sad to see canon behind the curve on this one

Pretty good so far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This printer is a little bulky for a small at home office. However, it makes me feel like when my business reaches a much higher level then we will definitely benefit from having made this purchase. Best Buy had the best price at the time too (holiday season), so I got it for around $200 less than other sites had it listed for.
