Canon Ivy Mini Printer
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just received my Canon Ivy Mini Printer today and I've had the chance to put it through a quick test. Upon opening the package you'll notice that it comes with a micro USB charging cable, a 10-pack of ZINK Photo Paper and the blue SmartSheet that's also included. After charging the mini printer for about an hour it was ready to test out. The printer connects via Bluetooth from my iPhone (it works also with Android). The companion Canon Mini Print app is needed which can be downloaded from the app store or the Google Play store for Android. Upon syncing I loaded up the photo paper pack with the blue SmartSheet bar codes facing down and the photo paper on top. I selected a photo of my late Grandmother to test out my first print and voila, it came out pretty nice. Didn't take too long to print. Initially I thought something had went wrong with the blue SmartSheet coming out first, however, after it came out the printer processed my photo. One thing I like about this is that the photo paper has a sticker backing. I placed my print of my Grandmother on that top lid of my laptop. This is a handy little device and can easily be packed away for travel. Takes up little to no space. Additional photo paper packs can be purchased, however, only 1 10-pack can be loaded at a time, and must use the blue SmartSheet that comes with every pack. In the Canon Mini Print app you can also add text and/or emojis to your photos before printing. I love this printer and can see using it for quick snapshots that I want to print and stick somewhere. I would recommend this to anyone.
