Great Printer for the money

The salesman (non-commissioned) showed me this printer and how reasonably priced the ink was for this one and with the savings on the price I would be saving money for at least the first five years. Then he showed me the 2 sided printing, the speed, and the other features I bought it hoping I wasn't making a mistake. After owning it for over a month I am grateful this gentleman took the time to change my mind. Love it. You will to.

Seems to be working well

If you can afford ink!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this 2 years ago & didn’t start using it till 6 months later. The ink cartridges that came with it lasted a long time. I bought new ink cartridges & that’s when the problem started! It would clean the heads for 5 minutes & used up half the ink cartridges. I called Canon & they said to buy new cartridges & call them if I still had the problem! Well it was even worse. They recommend to me to stop turning the printer off because it will clean the heads every time I start the printer. Which I don’t turn off the printer anymore. But now when I use the printer to print & after I use it, it takes 5 minutes to clean the heads after every use & it uses up half my ink. So I would recommend you not buy the printer. Oh they did send me new cartridges but I’ve only printed 50 low quality pages & I’m out of ink again. So unless you can afford to keep buying ink buy it! It does print very nice pages. Now I use it only to scan pages & use my 15+ year old Pixma iP 6600D to print everything. They don’t make them like they use too! The only good thing about all this is I bought it brand new from Best Buy for $9.95 after reward zone points!

Really like the ability to print double sided.

Easy wireless setup, great price

But, Best Buy was out of stock on that one and this was cheaper! No brainer. No problems and a great workhorse.
