Its a work horse printer, so easy to use and the quality is great at a fantastic price, can't beat the quality of the output. No problems what's so ever.

Never consistently connected with the other devices on my network. Had to reload the drivers nearly every time I needed to use it. 3 different calls to tech support. This is going back to the store.

I've had it less than 2 years. Needs service but it costs more for service than replacement. I'll be buying a cheaper one and unfortunately this one will end up in some junk heap.

Unfortunately I had to return it. I bought it for home use. It's just much to big. This is 2016, printers shouldn't be this large!

The quality of the prints is OK, but if you haven't printed in a while, it takes forever to clean the heads and start printing.

Slowest printer ever - constantly needs to be reset to get it to print. Scan works fine.

Went into the store looking for a laser printer. Got accosted on Tax-free weekend by all the sales reps for the brands of printers. Totally knocked off our game plan. Talked into a cheap printer. It's just that, CHEAP. Not user friendly, not easy to set up, not easy to use, at all. Never again will I buy a canon printer.

Printer worked for first two months. It ran through ink quickly. Had to wait until printer recognized that ink was running low in order for the cartridge to eject. Spent months and spent several dollars buying cartridges and still was not able to print anything. Terrivle piece of equipment.

It's not a good printer; it takes a long time to start, it's heavy, the inks are expensive, and it's hard to set up. Mine stopped printing quality printer within a few months after i bought it. I do not recommend anyone buying this printer at all.

I did a lot of research before I bought this printer. There was another Canon I thought I might like better but the price was too high. I decided to give this one a try and to tell you the truth, I really thought I'd end up taking it back...especially when I got it out of the box and discovered how big it is! That worried me a great deal because I have arthritis and I'll have to lift the printer to dust under it. But I decided to give it a fair try and boy, am I glad I did! It's fast, quiet and prints well. I've used it for about 2 weeks and it seems to go easy on the ink too. The set up took some time but that was probably my fault because it seems to take me a heck of a lot longer than it used to get anything done! It does make a little bit of noise when it starts up but it's not too loud and it warms up fast. (One thing I found is it prints slower if you turn the quiet mode on.) I haven't printed any pictures yet so I can't comment on that. I'm not real pleased that the paper drawers stick out a good two and a half inches but I like the printer so much I'm willing to live with it.

Printer did not work right out of the box. I tried to get it working, but it would not print a test page and the print head kept getting stuck. I knew there was a reason it was a deal of the day!

Terrible printer. It wastes so much ink that the cost alone isnt worth it.

I am a very tech savvy person but had a very difficult time trying to set this printer up. So, I returned it and purchase another.

I reordered more ink and replaced it as always and it no longer prints in color. Tried everything and nothing. Got it July 22 2016.

This was a poor choice for a printer. It failed almost immediately. Would come on but nothing was functioning. Too big and bulky. Junk.

The ink of this printer (Canon) is not clear. I don't recommend a friend purchasing this product.

THE CANON MAXIFY IS A VERY POORLY BUILT AND CHEAP PRINTER.
