Do not buy this printer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this printer because it was recommended by a Canon rep in the store. It takes for ever to start printing. Will print docs just fine but cannot get it to print pictures at all. It will either not process the data and cancel the job or will print half the pic and spit it out. I've been in contact with Canon support 2x and all the stuff they had me do did not fix the problem. Very disappointed in this printer. I will be purchasing a new printer and it probably won't be Canon.

Terrible

I have replaced the ink tank 3 times, even though it wasn't empty, done the head cleaning, deep cleaning etc multiple times. I just got off the phone with Cannon and they are sending me a replacement, way to go Cannon. I am writing this review because best buy support is terrible. I called the store and they would not stand behind it even though it had only been 4 months. From now on I will purchase from Amazon or Costco who have always stood behind their products. It is crazy that best buy wonders why they are loosing business.

Do NOT buy this printer

This printer sucks ink horribly. 200 pages with minimal print and I am already out of ink. I am completely disgusted with Canon. I've used laser printer for years for this reason. The story I was told by Canon Rep in Best Buy that day told me how this printer is comparable to laser. NOT AT ALL. Do not waste your money you will regret it.

At times it isn't all THAT bad but most often it makes a LOT of noises as if it's doing something but you could live a lifetime before it makes up it's mind to print. I don't print that often yet it still eats cartridges again and again. Stay away from this printer. I am looking for a new printer and would NEVER consider another Canon.
