    Even though ink cartridges are quite expensive, these cartridges are easy to use and they are very good quality. There is no mess when they are being replaced.

    The Cannon cartridges work well the cost has gone up so high, it is cheap to buy a new printer with cartridges Epson or others and the cartridges are cheaper to replace. But you will price match to Amazon Prime and that does help bring your cost down.

    The high gloss pages are pretty small and very difficult to align properly in the printer. Maybe it's due to my incompetence with my printer or the printer itself but I don't have a lot of use for it. That being said, the photo paper seems pretty good quility if you needed it and are better thab me at using it and of course the ink is just as good as any other.

    I prefer original manufacturer's cartridges because they show how much ink is remaining and their cost is actually less than driving to a refill ink store to buy the equivalent cartridges.

    I've had my canon printer for a few years now. As with all printers, you've got to have ink. It is easy to install. You just plug it in and go. Some might complain about the price but let's be honest, if you can't afford ink.......then maybe you should hit the library or something.
